Jurassic Slots

Jurassic Slots
Jurassic Slots Review Is the lowest budget Jurassic Park Slot on the entirety of the internet. It’s strange looking and copied and pasted, but so bad it manages to be kinda fun. We found ourselves mostly wishing that they’d tried a little harder to make this game fun and inventive. As it is, and it fails to stand out on almost any front, half being amusing for that reason.

Premise

Jurassic Slots is mostly Jurassic Park Slots, only without the formal license or the big old production values. This is the source of the game’s humor as well as much of its appeal. In the same vein as a parody, some of it is so bad that it ends up being pretty great.

Presentation

Overall, this is the main source of unintentional humor in Jurassic Slots. The graphics here are all over the board, looking like a combination of odd 3d renderings and cartooning. It is all somewhat amusing to see play out, almost like an art student’s first flash game project, which is part of what makes it oddly charming.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Jurassic Slots is old and done before, but it does make some productive use of Vegas formulas with some additional features thrown in. The jackpot is healthy, the bets range nicely from a single penny to $10 per line, and there is a 4 tiered bonus round that makes things interesting. With 5 reels, it also the 25 paylines you would come to expect.

The saving grace here really is that big payout, alongside the quirky charm that goes all over the way that it looks. The gameplay is nothing to write home about, but it also is not too bad, either, and moves along at a steady speed to keep things as interesting as the way it looks.

Likes

+ Good jackpot + Nice theme + Graphics are so horrible you’ll laugh + Good bonus features

Dislikes

- Budget was misused - Wonky graphics - Clearly not intended to be all that great,

Conclusion — The Bottom Line on Jurassic Slots

Jurassic Slots is not bad, but we have trouble coming up with anything about it that we can point to and say is all that great. It largely copies elements from other slots around a theme they did not follow through and tries making up for it with decent payouts and jackpots. Granted, that’s a big bonus, but it doesn’t make up for anything else. If you want something made with care, you can look elsewhere. If you’ve got some free time and spare coin, however, Jurassic Slots was made for you!
