Safari Slots is a game about romping around African shooting wildlife and winning money. What’s not to like? Which pretty much sums up our take on the game. Go play it! We really enjoyed it, and recommend it to everyone.
Premise of Safari Slots
Safari Slots is a great game that sings on all fronts and is hard to fault for being about animal hunting. Did we mention that it’s technically about shooting lions in the face? If a lion had a gun and was really angry, it would probably do the same to us. If you can get over that fact, or pretend Safari’s are about going around taking a bunch of pictures of wild animals as if it were a trip to the zoo, then Safari Slots is still for you.
Presentation in Safari Slots
The graphics in Safari Slots are great and well done. Each reel is crisp and compelling to look at. The titular lions look so great you might wonder if they are going to jump out of your screen to attack you! We are assuming that’s what a lion would do to you if you were really on Safari trying to shoot it, making it a fitting choice as an addition to the game. The background and UI also go well with the rest of the experience, making it all satisfying to look at as you spin and spin.
Gameplay Mechanics in Safari Slots
Gameplay in Safari Slots is very standard. It’s the usual 5 reels and 20 pay lines, like everything else. The bonus round here is the Safari Bonus Game, which wins not one award for originality on the name, but is a lot of fun just the same.
Betting here goes from a penny to $10. Top bets cap out at $200, which is huge.

Conclusion - The Bottom Line on Safari Slots
Safari Slots is a great game from Africa that will have you spinning for days and admiring all the species you are pretending to kill. We hope no animals were harmed in the making of this game, and if you really feel sore about it by the end, you can donate some or all of your winnings to a particular wild life foundation so we can keep having the titular source material for more great games. We really enjoyed the time we spent with it, wishing that they had added a few of our favorite African animals into the mix. We are not even sure if they’re the kind of animals you’d see on a safari, we’d still like to see them though.
As you can tell, we have little negative to say about this game. We tried, but are coming up short. That’s a good sign of a really great game.
Go play it!
