Salsa Slots

Salsa Slots
Salsa Slots is one of the ugliest games we’ve ever played. It never manages to look good in a single instance, despite playing well enough to be worth your time. They clearly had talented people involved, but it never managed to leak into the art department it would seem.

For anyone that can muster it and has a love of dance, you’ll love Salsa Slots. For everyone else, it’s a hard sell, but well worth a spin.

Premise of Salsa Slots

The premise of Salsa Slots is Mexico and dancing. Not as you would likely imagine it, however!

There are animals and booze and other things not really in that vein of thinking, which is cute. It’s not what we personally think of when we think of Mexico, but then again, we don’t often feel the need to go! Not when we have a slot like Salsa Slots to let us admire it from afar while lighting up our wallets.

Presentation in Salsa Slots

Graphics in Salsa Slots are all over the place. Most everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, but not very on theme as you would expect. The art is all hand drawn and doesn’t at all look bad in the line work. This isn’t a game that’s fun to look at despite it being very clean.

Things get a little wonky with the colors, however, which when combined all together, kind of make our retinas want to explode.

Gameplay Mechanics in Salsa Slots

Gameplay in Salsa Slots is nothing you haven’t seen. It’s 5 reels and 20 pay lines, which is about what you’d expect. The bonus feature is called the Salsa Feature, which is a dance nod and not a food break, which left us feeling hungry at the sight of it.

Betting here goes from a penny to $10, all the way up to $250. That’s quite a dance budget if you win!

Disliked About Salsa Slots

- Butt ugly - We found ourselves addicted within minutes - Most gameplay isn’t very new

Conclusion - The Bottom Line on Salsa Slots

Salsa Slots is not the greatest game out there, looking pretty off and being all over the place in theme. Still, we recommend it for fans of dance and those in love with Central America!
