Yes, we always recommend you try a game with no real wagers in action before you do anything else. Fortunately, Wager Gaming makes it simple to do that.

Have you figured out the theme yet?

If you’re thinking about the title of this slot and you know your lingo regarding American football, you’ve got the theme in one. Yes, we are heading into an American football game here, as you’ll see when you load it ready to try.

Check out the excellent design

We’d be disappointed if we didn’t see a football field in front of us as we loaded the game. Fortunately, we do, with the reels divided by metal poles. You can see the crowds either side of the reels and a darkened sky above. It’s not in 3D, but there is enough detail there to make it an accurate depiction of the game.

How to play 1st and 10

Relax – no knowledge of American football needed here! There are five reels with three symbols per reel. We don’t have any progressive jackpots in play though.

There are plenty of players involved in this slot. The one preparing to throw the ball is the wild. This pays up to 3,000 coins for five on a line. The scattered coach in front of the ball is the only symbol you can’t replace with a wild. There are other scatters too though – a cheerleader, a linebacker, and a defensive line symbol.

Paylines in 1st and 10 slots

This is a decent game to play with 10 lines available. You can choose how many lines you want to bet on, but it’s best to go for them all, so you don’t miss any prizes.

Choose your bets

There are plenty of wagers in this game, going from one cent on each payline to $5.

Paytable… or playtable?

You’ll see the playtable label on the yellow button to the left of the word WIN underneath the middle reel. It’s an amusing touch and one that fits with the game. Be sure you read through the table prior to playing the game.

The bonus comes via the cheerleader

Yes, you need to find the cheerleader on each of the odd-numbered reels to enter this part of the game. there are three moves to choose from during the football game. Each one gives you a prize, and you get to play all three before the round ends.

There is also a Go For It feature that begins when you find either three linebackers or three defensive line icons anywhere in view. This involves the referee and you can Go For It to gamble your winnings or risk losing the lot.

Free spins via the coach

Find three or more coach symbols in action anywhere on the reels and you can secure some free games. Your prizes are doubled during this round. It’s possible to reach the bonus round from the free games, too.

No clear RTP for this one

The playtable doesn’t give us this information, and we couldn’t find it elsewhere either, sadly.

Our rating for the 1st and 10 slot game

There are plenty of features in this one, all revolving around American football. That’s how a good slot should work, so we’re rating this as nine out of 10.

How much could you grab in prizes?

The best prize is the 3,000-coin win for five wilds on the same paid line. There are doubled prizes in the free spins though, so those have potential too.

Will you play the demo?

It’s the ideal way to see how the game plays and how the theme is put to good use during it. Even a few goes should make it easier for you to see if this is the best slot for you to play.
